Rosenbaum, Doxey join Ski Racing staff

Ski Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Lara Rosenbaum as its editor-in-chief, and Amy Doxey as its new sales and marketing coordinator.
    A member of the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team from 1991 through 2000, Rosenbaum brings her firsthand knowledge and love of snow-sport competition to the Ski Racing team, along with a breadth of experience in the magazine publishing field. Prior to joining Ski Racing, Rosenbaum served as an editor at Allure and Organic Style magazines, and most recently as a senior editor at Women’s Health magazine, in New York, where she was one of the original editors who helped successfully launch and brand the publication. Ski Racing is pleased to now have Rosenbaum oversee and direct the magazine’s print and Web editorial content.
    Doxey recently relocated to Salt Lake City from Oahu, and holds a degree in Communications from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She most recently worked at BYU's Career Center implementing marketing strategies for their programs.

A seasoned freelance writer, Rosenbaum’s work has appeared in national magazines like Men’s Health, Glamour, SELF, and Fitness among others, and she has written regular online columns for Women’s Health and custom Web sites like Saturn cars. Prior to joining Ski Racing, Rosenbaum served as an editor at Allure and Organic Style magazines, and most recently as a senior editor at Women’s Health magazine, in New York, where she was one of the original editors who helped successfully launch and brand the publication. Ski Racing is pleased to now have Rosenbaum oversee and direct the magazine’s print and Web editorial content.
    Amy Doxey recently relocated to Salt Lake City from Oahu, and holds a degree in Communications from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She most recently worked at BYU's Career Center implementing marketing strategies for their programs. As a Colorado native, Doxey is anxious to take a break from the surfboard and jump back on her skis. At Ski Racing, Doxey will manage subscriptions, classifieds, and other marketing programs, and serve as the office administrator.
    Both Rosenbaum and Doxey assumed their roles at Ski Racing on September 2, 2008. In December, Rosenbaum will join Gary Black as co-associate publisher while publisher Amanda Black is on maternity leave.
