PowerBar agrees to energize six Intrawest resorts, from Vermont to California{mosimage}PowerBar and Intrawest Corp. have announced a two-year partnership that will give PowerBar’s Harvest brand a marketing exclusive at six Intrawest resorts: Stratton in Vermont, Mountain Creek in New Jersey, Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia, Copper in Colorado and Squaw Village in California.

Under the agreement, PowerBar will implement customized PowerBar Harvest sampling and promotional programs throughout the ski season at the six resorts. PowerBar’s Harvest brand energy bars ill be distributed around the resorts to help skiers and snowboarders enjoy more time on the slopes. PowerBar will also sponsor select Intrawest resort events, such as snowboarding, free-ski and alpine competition. Intrawest and PowerBar Harvest will also team up on consumer direct mail campaigns, web marketing programs and promotional events at Intrawest retail outlets.

PowerBar Harvest’s on-site resort marketing programs will continue throughout the summer and fall seasons, targeting mountain bikers, golfers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts visiting Intrawest resorts.
