NorAm SG: Fisher stays hot with another win

For the second time in three days, Americans Erik Fisher and Andrew Weibrecht placed first and third, respectively, in NorAm speed races at Big Mountain.
BIG MOUNTAIN, Montana — For the second time in three days, Americans Erik Fisher and Andrew Weibrecht placed first and third, respectively, in NorAm speed races at Big Mountain.
    Friday, U.S. B teamer Fisher won a men’s super G, with Canadian Jeffrey Frisch second and U.S. C teamer Weibrecht third. Wednesday, Fisher won a downhill ahead of Canadian Gareth Sine and Weibrecht.
    Friday marked Fisher’s ninth NorAm podium this season, including a win in the Panorama, British Columbia, NorAm super G.
    He completed the super G course in 1 minute, 22.32 seconds, with Frisch .21 back and Weibrecht almost a second back in 1:23.17.
    Travis Ganong was fourth, Jonathan Robert of Canada fifth and American Errol Kerr sixth.
