Dartmouth’s Dave Chodounsky will miss a pair of NCAA college carnival events in February to compete in a series of Europa Cup races in Slovenia, Germany and Italy.
DARTMOUTH'S Dave Chodounsky will miss a pair of NCAA college carnival events in February to compete in a series of Europa Cup races in Slovenia, Germany and Italy.
    Chodounsky, one of the most experienced alpine racers for the defending NCAA champion Big Green and the 2005 NCAA slalom champion, will be leaving for Europe right after the Dartmouth Carnival on Feb. 9. He’s scheduled to compete in two slaloms in Kranjska Gora on Feb. 14-15, two slaloms in Garmisch on Feb. 17-18 a slalom and GS in Madesimo on Feb. 20-21.
    Chodounsky will miss the Williams and Middlebury Carnivals but will be back in time for the NCAA Championships beginning March 5.
