Men's Alpine Team to hold fundraiser Oct. 10

The Men's Alpine Team will host a golfing bash at The Jeremy Golf & Country Club in Park City, Utah, on Oct. 10.

I WANTED TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW about an event that the Men’s Alpine Ski Team is organizing on Oct. 10. We are having a golf tournament fundraiser complete with dinner, live music by Bryon Freidman and his band, gift bags (with stuff from a lot of our ski companies and the local sponsors), and an auction!
    The reason for the event is to raise money for athletes who will not be funded this year and cannot afford the $20K they have to pay in order to train with the team.
   The entire Men's Ski Team will be in attendance including gold medalist Ted Ligety and world championship medalist Erik Schlopy, and there will be autograph signings and photo ops throughout. It will be held at the Jeremy Ranch Country Club in Park City and starts at 12:30 p.m.
    For those who don't golf, you can buy a ticket for the dinner only, which will start around 6:30 p.m. All kids are welcome as we will have games set up for them too. For more details and to sponsor a hole, go to www.mensalpine.com.
