Brittany Lathrop added another chapter to the long history of Lathrop’s in ski racing by taking the Eastern JIII Junior Olympic super G title at Sunday River, Maine Tuesday (March 16).  Skiing out of Stratton Mountain School Lathrop led a Vermont sweep of the podium with Elizabeth Rolfs from Burke Mountain Academy in second, four tenths off the pace, and Hana Saydek of the Okemo Mountain Club in third.

Jaime Gaines and Demi Feder rounded out the top five respectively.

Vermont got shut-out in the men’s race as Tri-State’s Ryan Mooney, of the Eaglebrook School SC collected a six-hundredths margin win over New Hampshire’s Jeremy Epstein of the Waterville Valley program with Peter Martens of New York’s National Sports Academy Lake Placid in third.

Fourth and fifth went to Griffin Brown and Sam D. Morse respectively.
