The FIS on Thursday approved snow conditions and gave the go-ahead for next weekend's women's World Cup speed races at Lake Louise. 


THE FIS on Thursday approved snow conditions and gave the go-ahead for next weekend's women's World Cup speed races at Lake Louise. 

    “The course crew and staff of the Lake Louise Mountain Resort are to be commended for their hard work getting the course ready in what were at times challenging weather conditions. The track they have prepared is second to none,” said Alpine Canada Alpin Director of World Cup Events John Cassels.
    Kelly VanderBeek, who won silver in the Bombardier Winterstart Super G last season, will lead Canada's contingent next weekend and will be joined by Britt Janyk, Emily Brydon, Sherry Lawrence and Danielle Poleschuk.
