Kuusamo: High winds nix ski jumping

High winds and fog forced organizers to cancel a World Cup ski jumping competition on Saturday. It was not immediately known if the event would be rescheduled for Sunday.

KUUSAMO, Finland — High winds and fog forced organizers to cancel a World Cup ski jumping competition on Saturday. It was not immediately known if the event would be rescheduled for Sunday.
     The season opener on Thursday at Kuusamo was shortened to one jump because of bad weather.
