The first training run for the 71st running of the Hahnenkamm downhill was canceled due to rain and persistent fog Wednesday (Jan. 18) and the weather reports for Thursday give reason for pause.

Officials said if it is not possible to train on Thursday they were considering a scenario that would cancel the super G to allow a training on Friday, allowing the downhill to go ahead on schedule Saturday.
