Italy’s Federica Brignone won the women’s gold and Swiss Sepp Gerber got the primary medal for the men.

Julia Ford just missed out in fourth place among the women, but her point total was considerably under those of silver medallist Karin Hackl of Austria and bronze medal winner Elena Curtoni of Italy. There were just eight women who completed the three component races and Italy the U.S. and Russia each had two finishers. Angel Collison placed seventh.

No American guys were among the 15 men who were scored. But there were two Canadians on the list. Italians Dominik Paris for the silver and Giovanni Borsotti for the bronze came in close behind Gerber. Canada had Michael Mackie in seventh and Erik Read in ninth.
