Jeremy Bloom signs with Völkl/Tecnica{mosimage}USST's Jeremy Bloom finally has some good news. After a tumultuous summer and fall that saw the NCAA put an end to his college football career at the University of Colorado, Bloom has set his sights firmly on the ski season by signing an exclusive two-year agreement with Tecnica USA and Völkl Sports America. Bloom, owner of the 2003 Freestyle World Championship title and the 2002 Freestyle World Cup overall title, will compete on Völkl skis, Tecnica boots and Marker bindings.

"I am very excited to be skiing on Völkl and Tecnica," says Bloom. "Both Völkl and Tecnica have a strong tradition of developing equipment that produces championship performances in World Cups, World Championships and the Olympics."

Bloom also says he expects to have a major role in developing new products, and in promoting and marketing the Tecnica and Völkl brands. Völkl /Tecnica president Mike Noonan's enthusiasm matches Bloom's. Said Noonan, "We're delighted to welcome Jeremy to our family. We look forward to not only seeing him on more podiums but for the input he can give us as we seek to continue to make the best skis, boots and bindings available in the marketplace."
