Janica Kostelic wins world championship combined; Lindsey Kildow fourthJanica Kostelic of Croatia has won the world championship combined, edging her eternal rival Anja Paerson of Sweden in the event, held at Santa Caterina, Italy, just up the road from Bormio. Lindsey Kildow of Vail, Colorado, finished fourth after being overtaken by Austria’s Marlies Schild in the second run of slalom.
