After four competitions, Daniela Iraschko of Austria leads the FIS Continental Cup ski jumping rankings ahead of Austrian Jaquline Seifriedsberger and Germany Jenna Mohr. Last year’s Cup winner, Norway’s Anette Sagen is ranked fourth after participating in two of the four events so far.
Iraschko topped Sagen in Ramsau, with Avery Ardovino leading the U.S. women in ninth, Jessica Jerome 10th, Lindsey Van 12th, Brenna Ellis 32nd and Abby Hughes 34th.
The previous day in Bischofshofen, Sagen topped Iraschko, with Van 10th, Ardovino 15th, Jerome 18th and Ellis 36th.
All four events were held in good conditions before several thousand spectators. Especially the last event in Ramsau impressed the crowds with high-level performances. Some 60 women from 13-14 nations competed.
The circuit continues with two events each at Lake Placid, New York, and Park City, Utah, from Aug. 28-Sept. 2.
