Freeskiing: Olenick siblings claim Aspen/Snowmass Open trophies{mosimage}The 2006 Aspen/Snowmass Open wrapped up Saturday in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado, with the semifinals and finals of the men’s and women’s ski slopestyle and men’s and women’s snowboard superpipe competitions.

More than 300 male and female athletes from five countries competed for a prize purse of nearly $30,000 in eight disciplines within skiing and snowboarding.

Saturday’s ski slopestyle was highlighted by local Team Aspen/Snowmass athletes and siblings Peter Olenick and Meg Olenick each taking first place.
