The Hardcore got the points it needed from Anja Paerson, Peter Fill, Marco Buechel's downhill podium and 29 from Genevieve Simard in GS to dump the Rand Corp despite 104 points from Nicole Hosp in overall.
In the fight for fifth place the Smokin' Mirrors rebounded from a quarter-final drubbing with a last day charge getting 175 from Didier Cuche and 102 from Sarka Zahrobska in the overall positions and stopping Moser-Proell Division champion Interrosseous Membrane despite 120points from Mario Scheiber and 80 from Erik Guay in DH. The Membrane was hurt when Aksel Svindal failed to finish the SG and couldn't quite match the Mirror totals. The Kevlar Lederhosen worked past the Birds of Pray in the other consolation round match despite gaining no points on the final day. The Lederhosen's main contributor was Benjamin Raich, worth 110 in an overall position. The powerful Pray got 100 from Tanja Poutiainen's slalom win, but just 31 additional points. The Lederhosen will meet the Mirrors for fifth in the final week.
Dave's Dumpster Divers rolled past Team PMS to advance in the elimination arena and will face Ribbons which edged past The Blacks while at the bottom of the league Ricks Rangers and the Balloon Animal Commandos avoided last place by beating The Hammers and the White Circus Watch respectively.

Forum League

It will be Kashalot versus Sbtski for the Forum League fantasy title as the former downed NY8739Jr 306-186 and the latter edged Extremeskier 188-132.
Kashalot, with Benjamin Raich pulling in 110 for one overall position, Marlies Schild providing her usual 100 slalom points and Nicole Hosp connecting for 80 from second place in the GS slot powered into the finals as the NY8739 squad got one podium from Marco Buechel and top 10's, but no monster points from Anja Paerson and Michael Walchhofer.
Sbtski got two race scoring from Aksel Svindal and Julia Mancuso plus some lesser contributions from Fritz Strobl in DH and Genevieve Simard in GS. The 188 total was enough for the play-off win as Extremeskier got points from just one skier, though Marlies Schild with 132 in overall was nearly enough.
In the consolation round MGB stomped on Dewitt Cave and Tristate Alumni had plenty enough to stop Skibum.
