GARY PETRICH
has been named president and CEO of the new Dolomite organization beginning Jan. 1, 2007. Petrich will be making the change after a long career with Nordica, most recently as the vice president of sales.
The new Dolomite will operate as an independent company within the Nordica Group, sharing customer service, warehousing and other services of Nordica USA. Kirk Langford, the former EVP of Marker, has joined Nordica USA as the new VP of sales and will begin his new responsibilities immediately.
“These are exciting times for our dealers who carry Dolomite, Nordica and all of the brands of the Tecnica group,"  said Andy Knittle, CEO of Nordica. "This is a great opportunity for Gary, and we are very fortunate to have someone with Kirk’s experience to fill such an important role for Nordica.”
When asked to comment on his new role, Petrich said, “Dolomite will not only be able to capitalize on its own  technology base but will also have the advantages of utilizing the significant resources of the Tecnica Group of companies including, amongst others, the Nordica and Tecnica brands.”
Dolomite will complement, not compete, with the other brands within the group's portfolio, utilizing its unique position of being able to reinvent itself and approach the market in ways that other brands cannot.
“I will be talking with dealers over the next few months to ensure that the new Dolomite sales and marketing plan addresses the customers’ needs and exceeds their expectations. Without giving too much detail, the one thing I can say is that the strategic plan for the new Dolomite will be a refreshing departure from business as usual," Petrich said.
Dolomite will remain in its national headquarters in West Lebanon, New Hampshire.
