Chip Knight makes mid-season move from Elan to FischerFollowing in the tracks of Andreas Schifferer from Austria, another skier has changed to Fischer: Chip Knight from Stowe, Vermont/USA has put his faith back in Fischer skis. The 30-year-old was originally with Fischer from 2001 to 2003. And it was during that period that he achieved his best World Cup results.

On Chip Knight’s return to Fischer he commented, “I achieved the best results in my career with Fischer. I am happy to be with Fischer again and have the opportunity to use these skis.” Knight will race in the Slalom in Wengen on Sunday 16 January. In Wengen it is not just the special attraction of the World Cup atmosphere that he enjoys; “I like the slope in Wengen – it’s my favourite on the whole World Cup circuit. I also hope that I will have my best race this season there – a placing in the top 15 would be great”. A result that the Fischer racer wants to improve on again in February at the World Cup in Bormio. “In Bormio I would like to be in the top ten!”
