Cancelled Val d'Isère women's World Cup downhill rescheduled in Haus im Ennstal

The International Ski Federation (FIS) announced today (Dec. 23) that the cancelled World Cup women’s downhill race, originally slated to take place in Val d’Isere, France Dec. 18, will be replaced on the schedule by a race in Haus im Ennstal, Austria Jan. 8. 

Teams will arrive Jan. 5 to begin downhill training on the course.

The Haus im Ennstal World Cup stop was on the original schedule with one downhill and one super G.

The Val d’Isere race was canceled due to wind and fog.

New program:
Friday, 08.01.2010 first Downhill (starting time TBC)
Saturday, 09.01.2010 second Downhill, starting time 11:30 CET
Sunday, 10.01.2010 Super-G, starting time 11:30 CET
