Bode Miller considers skipping Garmisch speed races{mosimage}Bode Miller is considering skipping next week’s races at Garmisch, Germany, in order to rest his mind and his knee.
“I’ve been thinking about skipping Garmisch, but I don’t know,” Miller told two American reporters. “I will probably train and just relax.”
Saturday’s downhill was Miller’s 134th World Cup race in a row. He has not skipped a start since World Cup Finals in March of 2002. He will race Sunday.
“The priority right now is to make sure I have my equipment sorted out well in every event, so that I can race hard in every event,” he said. “I still have some gaps now.”
