AUSTRIA'S MARKUS Eggenhoffer maintained a firm grip on the lead in the Continental Cup Ski Jumping standings after posting a pair of top five finishes over the weekend in Oberstdorf, Germany.
Eggenhoffer, who was fifth in the opening competition Friday, finished second on Saturday behind winner Jakub Janda of the Czech Republic. Eggenhoffer hasn’t finished out of the top five in his last six jumps (two in Lillehammer, two in Villach and two in Oberstdorf).

Germany’s Felix Schoft won Friday’s competition in Oberstdorf, followed by Austria’s Wolfgang Loitzl and Germany’s Severin Freund.
