Aspen passes snow control for women’s World Cup races

The women’s Audi FIS Alpine World Cup races scheduled in Aspen from Nov. 27-29 were confirmed Thursday by the FIS following the official snow control at the Colorado resort.

The ladies will contest a giant slalom on Friday, Nov. 27 and two slalom races over the weekend. Saturday’s slalom is a replacement for the canceled race in Levi, Finland.

Fans in the U.S. can watch television coverage of all three Aspen World Cup races (including the recently added Friday event) via the following channels and NBC Sports Live Extra.
