For the second straight week Lebanon New Hampshire’s Nick Alexander qualified to take part in Saturday and Sunday’s World Cup jumping event on the Olympic venue jump complex in Lillehammer, Norway. Tonight Alexander, a member of the Lebanon Outing Club and Project X, had a jump of 121 meters, good enough for 32nd place.

In his final, season Polish superstar Adam Malysz lead the qualifications with a jump of 133.5 meters, just one day after his 32nd birthday. Finland’s Harri Olli was second, while Austria’s Gregor Schlierenzauer–the defending World Cup champion was third.

The men compete in Lillehammer Saturday and Sunday in World Cup competition.
