Austrian speed specialist Cornelia “Conny” Huetter from Kumberg has extended her sponsorship deal with Marker Volkl by an additional two years. With Volkl skis from the Bavarian town of Straubing and Marker bindings from Penzberg, the 22-year-old racer will be optimally prepared for the coming winter as she looks to build on the success she achieved during the 2014-15 World Cup season.

“Volkl and Marker have given me ideal support for over 10 years, and I’m just thrilled to be able to continue the partnership at this crucial point in my career. Next season, I plan on being very much on the attack, and a reliable ski partner sets the perfect foundation for that,” Huetter said. Her results from the past World Cup season included seven top-10 finishes from seven super G starts as well as another seven top-20 results in downhill and super combined.

“We at Marker Völkl are really happy to have extended the contract with Conny. At just 22 years old, she’s already a world-class athlete and delivered head-turning results this year. Her fourth place in the super G World Cup and 14th-place finish in the overall rankings attest to her outstanding quality,” said Volkl Racing Director Klaus Gattermann. “We are looking for Conny to move up to the front of the pack next season and believe that she’s actually just at the start of what’s going to be a remarkable career. The racing sports team at Marker Volkl is extremely motived and looking forward to continuing our work with her.”
