Jumper Romoren breaks finger
Legendary Norwegian ski jumper bound for Vancouver, Bjorn Einar Romoren, smashed his hand into a wall during a "fit of anger" Sunday following a World Cup ski jumping event in Willingen, Germany. He will take part in Vancouver's 2010 Olympic Winter Games, but with a broken little finger. The 28-year-old fractured his finger, requiring minor surgery, but he told the AP..."it will pose no problem....I did it because I was frustrated and deeply disappointed with my jumping," over the weekend and with a 25th place.
Romoren is the world record holder in ski flying with 239 meters, set in Planica.
