Americans Jaime Anderson and Madison Ellsworth defended their home turf Saturday night, winning the Paul Mitchell Progression Session at the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix at Copper Mountain, CO.

Anderson was intimidated by the impressive course at first but overcame her fear in big way.

Ellsworth’s challenges were equally as daunting, a pack of highly-skilled peers including last year’s winner Tim Humphreys.

The Grand Prix’s next stop is Jan. 29 - Feb. 1 at Boreal Resort near Tahoe, CA.
