Kikkan Randall undergoes procedure for blood clot

The clot may have been the result of May-Thurner syndrome, the use of the an estrogen based contraceptive device, or be the result of lengthy plane travel, perhaps exasperated by dehydration.
    Randall underwent medical procedures Wednesday and Thursday (April 9-10) which shrank the clot by an estimated 70 percent.
