U.S. jumpers Ryan St. Onge and Jeret Peterson failed to make finals.
Omischl had 227.77 points to hold off Belarussian Timafei Slivets, who had 219.46.
“The guys have been jumping well,” said U.S. head coach Jeff Wintersteen, “but they just didn’t put it down today ... just didn’t do it.”
National heroine Nina Li, the reigning women’s world champion, won her second women’s event in 24 hours, finishing with 196.34 points, while former world and World Cup champion Jacqui Cooper of Australia was runner-up (186.28). No American women competed.
The next World Cup aerials competition is Jan. 7 at Mont Gabriel, Que.
