Defending Cup champion Anette Sagen of Norway won the seventh meet of the season, jumping 67 and 66.5 meters on the 68-meter hill, good for 250.8 points. Second place went to current leader Juliane Seyfahrt of Germany — who has four wins and two second-place finishes — with two 67-meter jumps for 249.5 points.

Johnson went 63.5 and 63 meters, good for 229.5 points, while Hughes had jumps of 61.5 and 62, for 222.3. Jessica Jerome, the top jumper on the U.S. team this season with two podiums and three top-five finishes, fell on her first jump and then tied for the second-longest final jump to move up to 14th overall.

The summer portion of the women's Continental Cup schedule, the highest level for women jumpers, concludes Tuesday in Bischofshofen, Austria.
