'He wants to clarify his comments on the '60 Minutes' show that aired Sunday' said Marc Habermann, a U.S. ski team spokesman. 'With all the media attention, he felt it necessary to clarify his point of view and make the public and media understand his point of view.'

Miller will give his speech and not take questions. The meeting will take place in the Wengen Elementary School, where team captains' meetings take place every evening, and where the winners of the Lauberhorn downhill give press conferences after traveling from the finish by helicopter.

The U.S. Ski Team staff refused to speak about the issue on Wednesday.
