Alan Alborn, the lone U.S. skier in the meet, was 45th.

Rain and wet snow Friday night forced organizers of the Nordic Opening weekend to delay the competition until Saturday and make it a one-round event. The normally scheduled HS142 meet set for Saturday night was to be held later as a traditional two-round competition.
