Knight rode the fastest first run of the day to victory at a frigid, windy Tremblant. This came a day after winning both runs on Tuesday. "I loved today's courses, Knight said, "but it was just so cold. I don't think my runs were as good [as Tuesday], because I made a few mistakes in some sections. I'm still very happy to be here and to have done well ..."

Canadian Brad Spence used a fourth-place finish on Wednesday to match his fifth on Tuesday to secure second in the NorAm slalom standings and a World Cup slalom start.

Austrian Kilian Albrecht was second in Wednesday's race, followed by American Roger Brown.

Meanwhile, at the women's NorAm slalom in Craigleith, the USST's Kaylin Richardson managed to balance smart skiing with fast skiing in Wednesday's race. Her third-place finish secured her a tie atop the season slalom standings with Canadian Brigitte Acton. Acton was second in Wednesday's race, behind American Lauren Ross.
Acton and Richardson were both pleased to have company atop the rankings. "It's an honor to share the top of the podium with Brigitte," noted Richardson. "She's one of my favorite people on this series and we've known each other since we were young."
