Bloom, who already had clinched the World Cup title, finished second; World Championships begin March 17 in Ruka, Finland.

In the women's event, Japan's Aiko Uemura won with 25.15 points; Austrian Margarita Marbler finished second at 24.81. Laurel Shanley (Squaw Valley, CA) was fifth and Hannah Kearney (Norwich, VT) sixth with Emiko Torito (Denver) in 11th place.
