Warm weather and a semi-snowless winter had organizers worried and according to Secretary General Rolf Hammar, the 90km classic race is still threatened. The 30km and 45km races - the TjejVasan, KortVasan, SkejtVasan and HalvVasan - "can be considered as secure." But weather developments this week, on top of a massive snow shoveling effort, will determine whether the Vasa is held.
