Japan's Funaki wins ski jump in homeland{mosimage}

SAPPORO, Japan (AP) _ Japan's Kazuyoshi Funaki won a World Cup ski jump event Saturday that was limited to one jump because of poor visibility from a snow storm.

Funaki jumped 135 meters for 144 points in an event called off midway through the second jump. Austria's Thomas Morgenstern was second with 143.9 points after the day's longest jump of 135.5 meters while Norway's Roar Ljoekelsoey was third with 139.1 points after a leap of 132 meters.

Finland's Janne Ahonen and Poland's Adam Malysz, the top two leaders in the overall standings, did not compete. Ahonen has 1,526, followed by Malysz (994) and Hoellwarth (986).
