The first race of the 2013 World Cup finals after four weather forced cancellations was the Team event held under sunny skies in Lenzheide, Switzerland.

Germany got the victory when Felix Neureuther skied error free to down Andre Myhrer, Veronique Hronek dove for the finish to edge Maria Pietilae-Homner and Fritz Dopfer pressured Jens Byggmark into a mistake six or eight gates from the finish. Sweden has been a team event favorite since the inception of team competition and finished second. Italy upset the Austrian squad when Philipp Schoerghofer and Nicole Hosp both skied out of the course and Christian Deville ousted Marcel Mathis in a close heat.
