According to reports out of Italy, Olympic slalom champion Giuliano Razzoli has announced the end of his relationship with Nordica, the skis on which he won that gold medal.

“The slalom in Val d'Isere was my last race with Nordica,” Razzoli reportedly said. He thanked Nordica for “a wonderful partnership,” and said the decision was difficult but necessary, “to give me a kick.”

There was no indication of what material Razzoli would continue on.
