Feuz signs with Head Skis
Beat Feuz may be immobile following surgery to his left knee Thursday, but he has apparently been able to attend to business. Feuz will replace Didier Cuche as the lead Swiss skier for the Head team.
According to reports out of Switzerland Feuz has signed an agreement to ski for Head Skis. He had been racing on Salomon and previous to that with Volkl.
He is scheduled to try his new equipment in July after recovery from surgery to remove fragments of bone from his knee. Feuz led the World Cup standings going into the final weekend of the tour. He finished second overall to Marcel Hirscher, second in downhill to Klaus Kroell, second in combined to Ivica Kostelic and third in super G behind Aksel Lund Svindal and Cuche.
Head won the season's World Cup Manufacturer's Cup standings 7630-5340 over Salomon, but was second to Salomon among men 4635-3445.
